An experienced management consultant with more than 30 years of corporate experience including 15 years in government positions, Prashant is a qualified computer engineer and a postgraduate in Business Management. He has worked in major global conglomerates like Larsen and Toubro, Tata Unisys (later Tata Infotech), Siemens Nixdorf before moving to New Zealand. In his 20 years of residence in New Zealand he has worked with Spark NZ (formerly Telecom NZ) and Eftpos Specialists before working for the government at NZTE and then DIA. Prashant runs a consultancy under the name of Nirvana Consultancy Ltd and is on the board of several charitable trusts such as Migrant Heritage Charitable Trust, Migrant Community Cricket Club, Garje Marathi New Zealand along with Ayus Charitable Trust. An avid reader and traveller, he has worked in radio and media along with being a panelist on education advisory boards.
